TOMMY THE ROCK OPERA
21 was a very good year. I left Boston for a “2 week vacation” in London to visit friends, and ended up in a flat above the Rainbow Theatre 6 months later designing the lighting for the World Premiere of Tommy.
I did return to Boston eventually with one of the first LEE filters distributorships in the USA. Up until that point I designed with Roscolene and Cinemoid like most US designers at the time. More pictures on the way as I clean out the grip garage.
